Chilham, Kent. (Circular Walk)

Chilham in Kent is based around a square hemmed by half-timbered buildings. The wealth of historic architecture in Chilham makes it one of the most visited places in Kent. Among the older buildings is the White Horse inn, which dates to the 16th century. Much older is Chilham Castle, a manor house and Norman castle keep built for Henry II in 1174. The gateway to Chilham Park was built by Inigo Jones in 1616.

A lovely 9 mile walk from Chilham on the North Downs in Kent countryside, a circular walk through woods, fields and country roads. If you fancy a bite to eat after the walk The White Hosre pub is just next the village car park.

This route also includes geocaching.
