Princetown, Dartmoor, Devon. (Circular Walks)

Princetown is the highest village within Dartmoor National Park, and just about at its heart. It is the home of Dartmoor Prison, once incarcerating category A criminals such as the Cray brothers. But Princetown is now known for a good many other, more amenable assets. Dartmoor Brewery is situated within the village, concocting beers such as Jail Ale and Dartmoor IPA.

If you fancy a bite to eat after the walk you can stop off at The Plume of feathers pub.
